Manila Golf and Country Club is an exclusive Golf
and Country Club located at Makati, Forbes Park.
It is the premiere Golf course here in the
Philippines with numerous residential
condominiums in the Fort BGC positioning
themselves to make it part of their views.
Leah Construction & Development Corporation is
the partner of Manila Golf when it comes to
ensuring that their whole Golf Course is protected
against the harmful effects of lightning.
In 2002, LCDC has installed 16 units of E.F.
Lightning Protection Systems scattered across the
golf course to ensure that it has total protection
against lightning damage.
The E.F. Lightning Arresters are mounted on top
of 15 m self support monopole towers to ensure
that they are at the highest point from the ground
providing a radius of protection of 100m.
As part of our services, we conduct yearly
preventive maintenance measures to ensure that
the Lightning Protection Systems are in proper
working condition.
In 2012, as part of the landscaping and re
arranging of the whole golf course, the Lightning
Arresters were totally rehabilitated by LCDC with
a cost of 2.5 million Php.
