Key Projects: Supply, and Installation of HTC Ace Light Energy Saving High Bay Lights for Greencore Geothermal Power Plant Inc. located in Dumaguete
In 2012, Greencore Geothermal Powerplant, a
former National Power Corporation (NPC) plant,
was undergoing extensive rehabilitation and
upgrading of its facilities.
As part of the upgrading, GGPI tapped the
services of Leah Construction & Development
Corporation in replacing its existing 400w
Mercury Vapor lamps located at the turbine
building.
In order to save energy consumption, LCDC
supplied GGPI with HTC Ace Lighting from Taiwan.
HTC Ace Light was chosen by GGPI given its
unique proposition of delivering high quality
lighting such as a CRI of 80 – 90 while minimizing
the energy consumption by at least 70%.
The project had a total budget of 1.3 million and
was completed within 75 days.
